Augustinian Youth This is the youth that gathers in the monastery of the brother Augustinians. The group was formed after International Augustinian Youth Gathering in Madrid, 2003. Since then there has been a little group formed and they became the founding members of the AM (Augustinian Youth) meetings. Each year’s meeting focuses on a different theme. The youth try to enter deeper into the topic through praying, dialogues with invited guests, lectures and discussing in small groups. The meetings usually start with the holy mass and end with agape.The themes are related to the wide spectrum of the Christian faith. Learning and meditating on God’s word is very special. The important moment of gathering is sharing what we have discussed in small groups. The AM also gets to know the Augustinian spirituality and the saints of the Augustinian order. The special role here takes idol, personality and work of St. Augustine, whose life is close to all of the young people who are searching for real happiness and purpose in their lives. The AM´s goal is to learn to share the treasure of the faith that we possess. God is definitely calling us to put our faith into action. The youth regularly visit the help center for mothers and their children in the Alejova street and helps to prepare the activities organized by the brother Augustinians.
